Have you ever got back with your ex?
Just wondering if anyone out there has got back together with their ex and actally had it work the second time around? I broke up with my ex of 5 years because he wouldn't move with me to go to college. We love each other to death... I was just really disappointed and decided to let him go. I just thought to myself "I'm going to school so we can have a better life!" So I assumed I wasn't worth it to him. Am I selfish? I can tell you that there's a lot of time to think when you have an empty bed to lay in every night... I would appreciate any insight you could offer... or your own experiences with this. Lindsey

Yes. I'm married to her. We broke up for almost a year. When living together at the time so when she left I was there alone. The break up was necessary for her, she felt that she was missing something in life and she needed to find it. She realized that she wasn't missing anything and made a mistake she called breakdown. It was bumpy in the beginning because we have to iron out the problems we had. There were things that I accepted because I tried to keep the first relationship together. Second time around there has to be changes for the better. So it can work out but you have to resolve the issues you had before because they will continue resurface. And you will break-up again.

I am so happy for you, I am glad it worked out for at least someone. I wish I could think that way. I am so sad that this is happening to me I feel lost out at sea. I also know about the empty bed feeling linds03. It makes me sad every night. I miss & love her so much and hurts to let go. I just can't hold out that she will come back one day. I am very happy it happened for Marriedguy though. Very proud of you for marrying her and making it work, congrats!!
