I have nissan pathfinder 2002. The car sometime starts, sometimes does not start. The engine just cranks over 1 or 2 turns and stop. I brought it to the Nissan dealership to find the problem. They checked the car and find no problem with the truck. Now, the problem is still there (sometimes start, sometime not). Does anyone has similar problem. How do I fix it.

Ensure battery is fully charged, by removing it and placing it on a charger. If the starter motor still fails to turn over more than one or two turns, follow the steps in the link below:

If the problem persists, replace the starter motor.
