    Stone basement remodel
I have removed mildewed sheetrock from basement with a stone wall behind it .stone wall is in bad shape some holes about an inch wide and 6 inch deep scatterd through out basement morter is crumbeling in other spots. Had gutters repaired.no water leaking in but sheetrock and insulation were damp on rock side. What do you suggest I do to repair rocks and insulate and re sheetrock? Can I do it myself?
    Hope you can help. Thanks

I'm not sure how you can repair the wall but once it is fixed you should install some type of thick plastic or vapor barrier against the stone wall to prevent dampness from getting to your insallation and drywall.
