I need to understand how to find the mass when I am working on a frictional force problem. I am given the mass of a previous trial and I know gravity and the static or kinetic friction but I am trying to find the mass of the object in trial two... how would I go about doing this? :confused:

I don't have facts he doesn't give us practice problems all we have is quizzes and I don't have any idea what any of the numbers are I just know the concept but don't understand it... thanks for trying I figured I wouldn't get an answer since I don't have a specific question... thanks for trying

If we are talking about the same object, then mass remains the same in the 2 trials!

And if we are talking about a different object, we cannot find mass without some more information!
