My lg TV model cz20f60 will not remember the stations programed in after it is switched off
And when switching off with the remote it will not switch on again with the remote I must use the main switch:confused

If it is a multifunction Remote, be sure to press TV first, to put Remote in TV Mode.
Verify good Batteries, Place remote near a Radio, Low AM band. Press button on remote an listen for beeps. I am assuming this is an IR Remote.
