Just wondering if anyone can shead some ligh for me - my 8 year old daughter has a lump on the top of her spine at the bottom of her neck - I only noticed it the other day and it is a little painfull for her to touch - I am taking her to the Dr this week but just wondering if anyone else has had similar symptoms and if so what were you disagnosed with?

Any advice would be great:

I had a friend who had the same kind of thing when she was young, she had a lump in her back on her spine, she actually had scoliosis and had a surgery to help correct it. I know it seems scary, but it is not life-threatening and she lives a very normal life.

Either way, I hope your little girl doesn't have anything at all wrong with her and feels better soon!
