How do u slove this equation using elimination?

1/2x + 1/3y = 5/6
1/2y + 3/4x = 5/4

I'm not a fraction fan so eliminate the fractions of both equations first. I'm sure u can do that yourself. I'll do the first one for you so without the fractions the equation should look like:

3y + 2x = 5xy

do the same with the second equation. Now you will have 2 new equations. Now there are 2 methods to solve this. Either substitution or elimination. I prefer substitution but since you specifically asked for elimination then we'll do elimination. Write your 2 equations one under the other and then look how u can eliminate one of the variables by maybe subtracting the 2 equations or adding the 2 equations or some operation to the 2 equations. Once you got rid of that one variable it will be easy to solve for the other variable.

once you show me the 2 equations with the fractions in them eliminated and some attempt at the problem I will further help you out.

3x-y=9
2x+y=1

3x-y=9
2x+y=1
