My Kenmore Elite Dryer Model 110.60942990 will not heat up. I cannot get the back off to check the element. Please help!

Is this a 29' or 27' model? Each opens a different way. Let me know which you have and I can help you to access the element

By 29' or 27' do you mean cubic feet of space or dimension of door opening in inches or something else?

I'm a different user, but I have the same dryer with the same problem. Mine is a 27-inch model.

I took all the screws off the back (including the one in the center of the back, and something slipped down inside the cabinet), but the back won't come off.
