    Color correction
Hey guys... I recently dyed my hair for the first time in my life. I just wanted change so I have streaked highlights, but my hairdresser screwed it all up! I have asian hair and I told her exactly what I wanted done, now that I realized it - it's actually sad that I know more than her. But anyway I just want my brassy gold hair fixed! I just want some shade of brown with a little bit of blonde, but I also don't want brassy cognac orange hair after 2 weeks. What should I do? What shades of brown and blonde? I'm going to another salon this time but just in case, I just want to be able to tell the hairdresser exactly what has to be done.. I need help guys, I'm desperate.

If you have asian hair, you shouldn't go more than three shades lighter when doing highlights because it's going look unnatural. You should opt for a brown color such as chestnut brown or medium brown. These colors will great on you. To neutralize the gold brassy tones in your hair, you will need to use a violet base hair color. When you go the salon, tell the stylist that you want to tone down the gold tones and make it more brownish.
