Assuming the Check Engine Light doesn't stay on, and you can hear the fuel pump run when the ignition switch is turned to Position II for two seconds, it is likely a problem with the Ignition Control Module (ICM) or coil. AutoZone can tests these components for free. However, if you have around 120,000 miles on the car, I would replace them, along with the rotor and distributor cap. Here's how:

The most likely culprit is the ICM.
