I just had sex for the second time after a few years (the first one was not done properly) - then after the sex I started bleeding and it's the second day today - my period is due about 1 week later - and the bleeding flow is about the same as the period flow so I am really confused whether it's a period or just a bleeding from sex - my tummy hurted all day yesterday -
And how long does the bleeding stop for if break hymen?

Hmm, I would say you got your period. Are you usually pretty regular?

It sounds like it's probably your period. If you are really worried, go to the doctor. I guess you should do that anytime you become sexually active again, anyway. But, I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you aren't really regular, and it seems like your period, that's probably what it is. I don't think you would still be bleeding from a broken hymen. Also, if you are having cramps, that sounds like a period too. Get checked out just for peace of mind, but don't stress about it either. It sounds pretty normal to me.

But my period is due in about one week time so that means it should come in two weeks tme as I'm usually always late by one week each month -
Been bleeding now for two days and it feels like period but its quite hard to say - I'm quite worried - how can I tell the difference btwn abnormal bleeding and period bleeding?

Consult with your ob/gyn if you are that concerned and worried, that would be the best thing for you to do.
