State of OK Quite Claim Deed
Can anybody help? My wife has a deed that is filed in Atoka County Ok for her Deceased Father for land with no judgements filed against the property. After serching for other property in neighboring Pittsburg County OK we fould a registered deed in a different name describing the exact property located in Atoka County. The Pittsburg County Deed is dated a few days after the Atoka County Deed.
We were in the process of filing a Certificate of heirship with Atoka County Clerk. What should we do?

Consult a real estate or probate attorney.

Property can only be recorded in the county it is located, it would or shoule be physcially impossible to have one property located in two counties.

If this is, what county is the property phsycially located, what county is the taxes paid in,
