Unsanitary house should I pay rent
I rent a room from my boyfreinds cousin. Since I've moved in I had to clean up all their mess and I'm sick of it last month the bathroom ceiling fell and I had to clean the unsanitary water that fell from upstairs toilet. I cannot go to the landlord because they never told them I was living there so I've been going my boyfreinds cousin he hasn't done anything about it I didn't pay rent this month and now he wants me out tomorrow I feel I shouldn't have to leave because I have done nothing wrong , can you help me should I pay rent or should I stick my ground

Bottomline... you are not on the lease agreement... the tenants can ask you to leave anytime they please, for any reason... you are just giving them a good one for not paying rent.

You have no ground to stick to here. You are not on the lease, the landlord does not know you are there - you are there illegally. The landlord could evict you right now and your bf's cousin too, for having you there.

As far as the unsanitary conditions - call the Health Department.
