    Painting Garage Floors
I bought an epoxy garage floor kit from Home Depot. No problem there.

I was talking to the home depot guy and I was telling the home depot guy about the cracks and divets in my garage floor. He recommended Dap Concrete 3.0 sealant. He said it would fill the voids, divets, etc. So I used it and it filled fine.

BUT, the product does not get 100% hard and stays somewhat soft/spongey once dry... So, now I am worried the epoxy will crack, etc after I paint it. I called DAP and they confirmed that this would happen. DAP said I need to use a non-hardening paint like latex and that should work better than an epoxy. But all garage floor paints seem to be epoxy.

Any suggestions? Or should I just paint with the kit I bought and see what happened? The areas I filled are relatively small (like a silver dollar) in diameter)

    Thanks

If you have small cracks id just use some concrete mix to fill in. as for the floor it will peal if you don't clean it really well. And I don't mean a shop vac, I mean vac it , again and again and then clean it with a muratic acid then paint it, we've done a few of these but there a lot of work if you do them right,
