Dryer runs but does not heat
I have a kenmore dryer that runs but does not heat. I had this problem last week so I tested all parts with my ohm meter I found that the Thermal cut-off was not working. I replaced the Hi-Limit Thermostat and the Thermal Cut-Off (fuse). The Thermal cut-off is burnt out once again. I do not want to keep replacing the part everyweek. Has anyone seen this problem before? I would appreciate any help on this problem.

    Thanks,
    James

If the vent hose and or the blower area is clogged with lint, it will blow the thermal fuse. Remove the blower housing and clean extremely well.

I am now having a similar problem with my Kenmore dryer. I know its not the heating element and have replaced the thermal fuse. Still no heat. Have you solved your problem?
    If so, what was it?

Any other ideas from other readers?

    Thanks,
    Jack
