I am unable to type any text in the message. When I tab down to the text section in hotmail a black border appears around the text screen and I am unable to type any message. How do I eliminate this problem. I am using Firefox as my Internet connection.

First FireFox is not an Internet connection. It's a browser that you use WITH an Internet Connection.

Have you tried using IE to access Hotmail to see if it's a problem with the browser?
