OK I don't want to go to the hairdressers, but my natural hair colour is JET BLACK. I want to go blonde, I have tried bleach and 12% Peroxide, and I just can't no matter how long I leave it in for get it past carrot orange. Its impossible. Is there a way to get it to go Blonde?

On second thought, has it occurred to you what you are going to do, if and when you achieve your blond colour, what is going to happen when your roots start growing out if your hair is jet black. A lot of maintenance because nothing looks worse then light to black roots. Anyway, the lightest you will ever get is orange.

In order to go from black to blonde, you will need to do a double process (bleaching and toning). A high lift color can also be used to lighten your hair. These process are difficult and should only be attempted by a professional. In salons, stylists use only the best products and techniques. You should consider going to a salon if you want to go blonde.
