    Not Paying Car loan
My question for anybody that reads this is, I can not make the monthly payments on my car, and the car is under my mother. My mother can not pay the car either and I was wondering what would be the appropriate thing to do in this case. I am struggling month-to-month for these payments and my mother does not have much money, what can I do about it? Please help.

Seeing as the car loan is in her name, she is the one they will come after for the money. I would suggest you try to sell it and pay it off as best you can to save your mom the headache.

They will likely come after her and eventually repossess the car and charge her the so called looses to her credit report and possibly sell the debt to a collection agency. It could get nasty. You might want to speak with the lender and see if you can refinance the loan. Not sure of your situation exc. Turning the car in as a voluntary repossession is an option that will lower the charge off but could end up causing you the same trouble. I agree with tickle. Sell the thing if you can
