How do I get my mother to move out and she's on the lease?
I share an apartment with my mother. We moved in July of this year and we are both on the lease, unfortunately. She doesn't work, pay rent, pay bills or anything but cause stress to myself and my unborn baby. I need her to move out and every time I confront her and ask her to move she will not go and puts up a fight. But she is on the lease so what can I do?? :( :( :(

If she is on the lease and doesn't pay rent, I suggest you talk to your landlord so that he can tell her she needs to pay her half of the rent at least or there will be consequences. That may help if your landlord will cooperate with you.

There's not much you can do until you can break your lease without penalty unless you can pay those penalties, but I suggest moving away from your mother and telling her that you are tired of paying for her and will not support her any longer, and request that she pays you back, if you want her to.
