I just did a most stupid thing ever yesterday. I don't know what I had been thinking. I stole the jewelry cost $315.00. I been caught and be arrested one night at the keller police office . MOm and dad bailed me out. The officers said I have to wait for the police to determine if they going to file me to the court or not, or if the case will be dismissed. I am so worry . I never be such a bad person, never been arrested or involved in any crime. I am wondering if my crime at this time will be in my theft record or I still have hope that the case be dismissed and no theft record. I am 20. I am going to school right now, it's engineering major. Is there any way to have no theft record. Please help me out.

You don't say where you are, that might have a bearing. But if it's a first offense, its possible you might get away with probation and having your record expunged after you fulfill probation.
