Trying to get prgnate . Got any tips?
So I started spotting and puking but the dr said early miscarriage but me and my boyfriend of 3yrs have decided we really want to try and have a baby we have been having un protected sex for 3yrs and have come close twice now to having a baby... but never really kept track on when we were having sex comepared to when I was ovulating cause we were never really trying we knew we were ready if it happened and felt if it happened it happened and we would be happy... so my question is.. do you ladys have any tips for me on getting pregnant? I usually can tell when I'm ovulating I'm pretty standard 28 day cycle and ovulate 2 weeks after my period so what can I do to really get pregnant ?

Have you tried the new tests that are out that can tell when you're ovulating and when the best time to try to conceive is? If you can't seem to get pregnant on your own, ask your doctor if he has an tips and maybe even see a fertility specialist, if it's just not happening, perhaps he can get you on some medication to improve fertility.

I definitely want to stay away from fertility drugs I don't want Multiples and I already know twins run in his side of the family... I've read about ovulation predictors and I'm going to go check them out

Good idea. If you try for a long time can't get it yourself and you don't want to take drugs, talk to a doctor about maybe artificial insemination if you really want a baby.

    Good luck and best wishes!

Well you seem to have a pretty regular cycle... which is good :)

If you haven't already, set an appt with your doctor and let them know you are trying to conceive. They will do a pre-pregnancy work up and should include blood work to make sure all your hormones are at the right levels to achieve pregnancy.
Start taking a prenatal vitamin as well.

Here is a site that will help you calculate your window of peak fertility.
American Pregnancy Association : Getting Pregnant: Ovulation Calendar
If you are planning on using ovulation tests... this will help you narrow down when to start testing.
Once you get a positive ovulation test you should ovulate in the next 12-48 hours.
Another sign you can look for that will tell you are close to ovulating is a change in your cervical discharge. It will become very wet, slippery, and stretchy. This is your body's way to help nourish and transport the sperm.

You could try these easy steps to try for a few months. :)

    Good luck :)

I can't agree with macksmum again for now but she's right - don't forget your folic acid! Folic Acid, NCBDDD, CDC
