What is the salary of a pre-school teacher?
That's depends on a number of factors:
1. Where the teaching job is located.
2. What the starting pay for teachers is, in the school district where the teaching position is located.
3. Whether-or-not the teacher has any advanced degrees beyond a B.A. or B.S. such as an M.A. or M.S. or even, Ph.D.
4. How many years teaching, as an employee of a school district, the teacher has already. Most school districts will start a teacher at a higher point in the school district's salary schedule depending on how many years experience the teacher already has.
5. Whether the job is full or part-time.
I did find a site which lists the average starting pay for primary school teachers in the United States as being $25,707.00. But, that is an average.

It will also make a difference if the preschool is public or parochial. Parochial teachers' salaries are lower than those of public teachers.
That's very true! I should have remembered that. Most of my teaching that I did was at parochial schools.Quote:
