Hi there, I am 16 and my friend's father passed away a bit over a month ago all of a sudden from a heart embelism. He was 53.

Our whole group has been extremely supportive to our friend, i.e. always being there and encouraging him to express his feelings.

In the past few weeks, our friend has been getting with a lot of girls on weekends at parties. More than he ever used to.

I know this should all be about supporting him, but a girl that dumped me about a week ago is now completely interested in him and wanting to "get with" him.

I feel totally torn, and obliged to give the green light. It would hurt my feelings a lot if he was to do anything with her, but do I react?
