Im absoloutly sick of my spots I know it's a part of growing up and hormones etc. But I always get really big ones I do squeeze so then eventually they go. I have tried lots of washes etc. But nothing works I feel down and self conscious please help!!

Trust me, everyone goes through this! Don't worry about it too much. Could you be allergic to a certain kind of soap or shampoo? Do you use lotion on your face? If lots of different washes aren't helping, maybe your doctor could recommend a new product. Other things that can help are making sure you are drinking enough water, eating a well balanced diet with veggies, and getting at least a half hour of exercise every day. If you are in sports, make sure you wash makeup off before you sweat. Also, if you have headgear for sports, make sure you clean it after every practice- lots of bacteria can build up on it. One thing that I do when I am getting a breakout is to wash my face with warm water and a little bit of baking soda. I don't know why it works, but it usually does for me. My grandma told me about that. But, one thing about that, if you have been squeezing them or have any open cuts or sores on your face, it will burn because of the salt. I learned that the hard way! :) Not wearing make up will probably help. If you do wear it, make sure you aren't allergic to anything in it, and buy a type for oily skin. If nothing seems to help, a dermatologist can probably help you. As you get older, the breakouts will most likely become less frequent and severe. Also, PMS or being on your period may make you break out more, at least it does for me. Hope this helps. And don't worry about the spots! I'm sure your friends all have things they are self conscious about too. Just put on a big smile, and you will be beautiful!
