This all started this past summer in June, and I missed my period. Then again in July I missed another one, but in August I had some spotting and all the pregnancy tests I hade taken came back negative, so I thought I was in the clear! Then in Sept. I had a regular period, so I thought I was OK. Now its Oct. and I missed three pills in the same week, and the next week I was to have my period, but on that Mon. had unprotected sex, and then had a 2 day period, if you want to call it that, it was extremely light spotting. I have yet to take another pregnancy test, but does this just sound like irregular periods or could I possibly be pregnant after this past time?

What you're experiencing COULD be a result of not taking your pills regularly. The pill will regulate your period and minimize PMS symptoms, not to mention give you 99% protection against pregnancy IF you use them correctly. Missing that many days in a row will possibly cause breakthru bleeding or spotting.

Read the insert that came with your pills. It will tell you what to do if/when you miss pills on certain days.
