My father recently passed away. I am going through the process of probate court now.
I am receiving refund check made payable to the estate of my father. I have not received anything in writing from the courts yet. What do I need and how do I open an estate bank account.

Go to a bank with proof that you are the executor of the estate and tell them you need to open an account in the name of the estate.
