I was having very bad aches and pains from a cold this weekend so I asked smoeone at work for a painkiller on Sunday to help me get through the day, I assumed they would give me a tylenol or aspirin or something but I found out later that they gave me 2 vicodins instead of 2 non prescrip things... normally I wouldn't mind because those work better but I have a drug test on Wednesday morning for a job.

Because I only have taken this drug one time, on that day at Sunday at around 6pm, and the test is aroudn Wednesday at 8am, will I be OK and it wont show up?

The time from ingestion to test is about 62 hrs and I researched a little and saw that usually it is only detected between 24 and 72 hrs with an avg of about 60 so I was curious...

Can anyone share any inside info about how long it is detectable if it is only one time use and with 62 hrs to cleanse ?

I really don't want to fail this... seems I should be OK but I just wanetd to double check because it really is nagging me. Thanks so much for your prompt response.. I have one and half day till then roughly..

The test is a urinalysis, UA .

I would guess that it is only detectable for about 3 days max, so you can probably test clean if you don't take any more and if you drink plenty of water to encourage the cleansing.

Thanks so much for your answer. Yeah I wouldn't have taken it if I hadn't been sick I just was having a hard time having to work and being ill. So far I have been drinkikng a lot of juice and water anyway since I have a cold so I won't be surpirsed if I pass. Especially considering I read a lot that these tests are not very accurate for tiny doses which is all that will be left in me by that time, I read yestserdeay the metabolism of medications orally is such that after 5 half lifes, or in this case 20 hrs, 90% of the drug is gone, so if you figure I have 62 hrs, that means if anything is left its bound to be only around 1 or 2% but most ilkely 0. if anyone has any other info that would back up my opinion or that is opposite let me know.
