    Tail lights.99 honda accord
My tail lights went out... the fuse will blow right when I put one in... I understand it is an electrical problem at this point but does anyone know exactly where it would be?

Is one set of your tail lights in the trunk lid, the wiring going to the trunk along the trunk hinge breaks sometimes, if this is not it then the wiring going to the tail lights could be shorted somewhere along the harness. Disconnect each tail light assy one at a time and see if inserting a bulb into the assy that is still connected blows the fuse, this will test if one of the tail light assy's is the problem. Do you have a bulb indicator on the speedo cluster to tell you if a bulb is burnt out, there is a little black box that controls this light, the little black box could be bad.

Unfortunetly, the tail lights are not the only thing powered by this fuse but if the fuse does not blow until you install a tail light bulb then that is the circuit that is probably bad, it may take some digging to find the real problem, start with above.
