All right, Ive been looking around and I think I have the answer but I want to double check. The law in SC states that the age of concent wihtout parents permission is 16.. am I right? So I am about to turn 19.. and the guy I want be with is about to turn 16.. so when he turns 16 is it legal for me and him to date and do whatever without getting into trouble? His mom hates me and would put me in jail on the spot if she had a chance.. but would she be able to do anything about it once he turns 16?

If that is the law there, no but are you messing with him now? And why are you with a boy that young? He's not even old enough to drive is he. Are there no boys your age you can date?

Just my choice. He can drive. And he's A LOT more mature than most of the guys my age around here. It's just who I like and you cannot control your feelings. But no, Im not messing with him like that now. I mean we talk.. we like each other.. but Im not going to go to jail over it.. that's why I am asking this question cause he is about to turn 16 here in about a week and a half.
