We are planning on remodeling our kitchen. We currently have an free standing oven on a 220v 40amp dedicated line. We are looking at new appliances which will consist of a new range (220V/30 Amp rating) and a single wall oven (240V/16.6 Amps). Being that this is not new construction, how can I provide power to each appliance using the existing line?

If the existing cable is #8, which it probably is, you may junction both the cooktop and the oven to this cable.
