I have a roper dryer wasn't heating replaces heating element a year ago, seemed to fix it. Now a year later doing same thing. Could it be heating element again? Should they go out this much?

Check it for continuity to see if it's gone bad. No, they should not go bad that quick. Also check the thermostats for continuity and clean the exhaust and remove the blower housing and clean that area very well
