    Why does bathroom sometimes have a bad smell then sometimes not.

    This could be caused by a faulty wax seal. Let me explain. If the seals ruptured a bit then it will still allow water to flush past it but if a wind creates back pressure in the vent it causes bsewer gas to leak past the seal. Air(sewer gas) will leak out where water will not. Regards, Tom
