What is with the dating sites today? I have been on 5-6 of them. It seems like all the men(maybe women)are only interested in one thing, a one night stand. I email them several times, talk on the phone,have much in common, hit it off, they know I am only interested in a long term relationship, but yet they are not intested in one. They can go to adult sites for that only. Why are these people ruining the sites with their lies and phoney profiles. My profile is upfront and tasteful, yet I am finding many are not up front on the sites. Does a person need to get out there by joining clubs, going out more, movies, lunch, classes to find a nice, desent partner?

Yeah that is why I don't bother with them. I tried to get interested in them a few years back but it seemed like they didn't want to talk about anything constructive or of any value. That is why I started on this type of site, the people don't act like shallow bores that only have one thing on their mind.

Lol I've never been on a dating site but I've had many online relationships just going to chat rooms. I was with one guy for 9 months and he was thinking of coming to see me from Alabama... but he moved to Maine T-T I really liked him too, but he broke up with me after that cause he got into drugs and didn't want to me to get anywhere near things like that. Online relationships aren't hard to find but dating sites really are bogus :P and don't go for Yahoo online chats either... I found very quick that most people that get on there are pervs. Now if you find a hiden site... that not a whole lot of people know about try that. (I'm bi of course and got a girl off gyc.com, that gay youth corner, didn't work out though... she was to clingy)

Anyway don't just try of online, long distance, or anything like that too much... I've found that long distance doesn't usually work... So try for clubing. Go to local events like the fair or an authors signing or something of your interest, you'll have much better luck. But for the guys that smile at you or look you in the eye... if they look anywhere else... run away! XD lol
