My girlfriend of a year and a half is attending a 15th year High-School reunion lunch tomorrow.

She is divorced with 2 kids (and lives a crazy-busy schedule), and is going to med studies in a.m. then reunion and then plans time with me and then movie with all of us that evening...

So, the question is simply this:

Should I just let it slide. See her after and assume part of life?
In all honesty, I am not sure it would be much fun, but hey it did make me pause ---

If she wants you to go, go, if she does not care, don't

Should I take the lack of an invite as a slight?
Or let it ride...

Why would you want to go to the reunion?

Plus, if it's like my reunions, she would have to have a ticket or would have RSVPed how many she is bringing. You can't just go boppin' into the reunion lunch unannounced.

Heck, no, it's not a slight! Be relieved!

Yes, a ticket is required. Her GF got one... and she brought kids cause with her...


Ok, I wasn't sure if she made a conscious decision (deal with old boyfriends, handle old stories)
Or it was just a blip on the radar.

I am sick and wouldn't want to go actually, but I was driving home and thinking huh?

Of course, there are old bfs and old stories. Hey -- high school!! It will give her something to talk about later when she sees you. (Reunion lunches are not necessarily fun.)

Though her main BF was out of town

Fever kicking in I guess -and we are well past high school after all

Each of you should have a life apart from the other. That gives you something to share stories about when you are together.

You two sound like an interesting couple. Plus she juggles two children. Fun. Challenging.
