I have a person that has been living with me for three months she has not paid any bills or rent in 1 1/2 months maybe a little longer. I gave her thirty days to move out which expired on the 17th, and the police dept. told me there was nothing I could do about it. This person is using drugs and has threaten to burn my apt down. What do I do?? Please help

She's YOUR tenant, and you have to evict her. You can find your state landlord tenant law at the top of this forum.

By the way, there's plenty YOU can do about it. It's the COPS who aren't going to do anything about it. They are good at eating doughnuts, though.
