I am doing my kitchen floor and the floor is uneven I am placing a subfloor , would it be better to use individual tiles or whole sheet linoleum,just wondering if I place individuals tiles would the tiles eventually come loose also will the sub-floor even out the floor thanks a lot for any advice

How far is the uneven flooring?

I always suggest new sub-flooring to even out the old surface,but if the floor is too uneven(say,1/4 inch in one line)you'll have a hump to contend with.

If its just to cover pockets or small voids,you should be OK,remembering to stagger the joints of the new sub-floor.

If you want to use tiles and the floor is uneven,eventually the tiles will conform to the different heights and break,leaving a line for dirt etc.

Whole sheet linoleum is probably the way I would go,no gap for debris to get trapped in(kitchens and spills... )also the clean up is easier.

The subfloor will only lay as flat as the joist will let it. I'm not to keen on tile laminate flooring, the gaps tend to get dirt in them and they peel up if you don't get all the dust off the floor before you lay them, you also need a new 1/4 ply down before you lay the floor
Only good thing I've found is if you make a mistake you've only messed up 1 piece, as apossed to buying a full sheet of vinyl floor.

If the floor is really out you can try and use a floor leveler. Buy it from Lowe's or homedepot. You'll have to mix it with water and spead it out smooth

Id go with a full sheet of vinyl just because it will last longer and its easier to maintain, just watch you cuts or make a template to go by.
