My 7 month old won't eat his vegies
My 7 month old baby boy won't eat his vegetables anymore which he used to love.
I've tried canned and home made allsorts of vegies and have tried to give to him for lunch that didn't work then I tried for tea that didn't work but when it comes to yoghurt and custard and fruit he gulps it down like its going out of fashion I'm really concerned for his health without his vegies.

He will be fine without his veggies for a while. He has discovered foods that are sweet. Humans always prefer what is sweet. In fact, the front of our tongue (the part that first tastes any food or drink) is the part that realizes what is sweet.

Offer him "sweeter" veggies like sweet potatoes (yams) or mashed potatoes with a little gravy or carrots. Add a small amount of other veggies like green beans to applesauce or yoghurt and gradually adjust the proportion.

Just relax and feed him samples of this and that. Babies go through many phases. Have you tried any meats yet? Ground lamb might suit him, or turkey.
