    Immigration process
Me and my husband, Jose, have a 19 month old little girl, we want to know what is the best way to go about filing for his papers. We have started by filing for biographies, what is the next thing to do? I was told that we are going to be sent back to Mexico so we can wait out the apt. is this true. Please help if you know anything about the process.

If he is illegal he will have to go back and he will be banned from coming to the US for up to 10 years. If he's illegal my advice would be to wait it out and hope they do something with the immigration laws, that's what a lawyer told us to do.

In cases like this your best to talk to an immigration lawyer, they shouldn't charge much to do a consult and offer advice. But yes you might have to leave and re-enter legally and then you have to explain why you were in the US without a status for so long.
