    1998 Honda accord Distributor adjustment
After replacing the distributor the car stalls at idle. Although after stalling car is able to be restarted. Does the distributor need to be adjustd? If so is it easy?

Timing may need adjustment. If you don't have a timing light, slightly loosen the three 12 mm bolts securing distributor housing to engine. With the engine running, slightly advance the timing by rotating the distributor counterclockwise. It may be necessary to only rotate it 1/4 inch. The speed of the engine should increase and prevent stalling. You should audibly be able to adjust the timing fairly close to where it should be. After you are done, retighten the three distributor mounting bolts.
