How do I replace the pull rope on a ryobi weed eater
I ran into the situation for a pull start for a tecumseh engine. I just dropped it off at a lawn mower shop. $20 later, fixed.
It's like working on mufflers, not worth the hassle of learning how.
Hey, kiss has a good solution. The best thing to do is bring it to a shop and let some of us do it for you. Some weed eaters are easier than others. And even though $20.00 may seem steep just to put on a rope, well you do a lot of labor to do so. Usually disassembling most of the exterior components. In fact there is one weed eater made by snapper, that we will not even consider putting a new pull rope into, and send them to our competitor. After one or two, I don't think that he does them anymore either.Quote:
