Am I his girlfriend, or his mother?
I can't take this anymore. It seems like I'm always the one that's stressing about my boyfriend's business. The latest happening is with one of his college classes. He got scheduled to work at a time when he has class because he "forgot about his class starting to he didn't request off work." So this whole week I've been reminding him to try to get it switched with someone and he finally does it... the day before. Of course they can't switch so he's forced to miss the first week (two classes) of a class that only lasts four weeks. And it's like he doesn't care. He seems to forget about everything important and I feel like I'm always reminding him of the things he needs to take care of. Is this normal? Do a lot of women experience this with their boyfriends/husbands? We are both in our early 20s and have been together for two years. Own a home together so our finances and things like that are all handled as if we're married. So is this typical of married couples also? Please help.

My husband would never do anything that irresponsible. He is showing you a part of his character. It won't get better with time. You will have to decide if you want to nag him the rest of your life together.

EEk, you own your own home under both your names in your early twenties wow. Honey he won't change unless he gets hit hard. Sorry to say but it seems like you're headed for a handful of headaches. Don't have kids because he won't help with that either. Cheers.
