We had custody of my husbands children for all their life till 2 yrs ago and the mother got them back the children wanted to stay with us and the law guardian also recemmended they stay with us but the judge gave them back .since she has had them one child 3 yrs old died in her care her 1 son was molested by her uncle and she didn't press the charges and she wasn't watching the other child who was 7 at the time and he fell on scissors and almost died she even pulled out the scissors from his wind pipe and threw them away then because the daughter wanted to see her dad she fought with her and put her on pins. They had awards for attendance and their grades were in the 90s with us now the 1 child is in a special class the girl is in the 80s and the 9 yr old is still in 2 and grade we lost our visitation because the mother gave a false address and we didn't know we had court then she said we never visited with them and we had them more than her. They don't want to believe us and we don't know what to do anymore before someone ends up dead again. She was also charged with 7 counts of child neglect and still got to keep the children and plea to an acd charge the cps worker quit her job and went to the probation dept and said one day she would see the kids there. We have all the proof in the world but it seems like the fathers have no rights please help .we are very desperate and went to court again today and they keep postponing now the next one is dec 9 the daughter told them she wants to be with us and she's 14 she said no one will help her she's getting so distraught I hope she doesn't do anything help please

If your daughter really wants to be with you she needs to really let the judge know about it. I would report the mother to dss every time you see something crazy going on. If I were a 14 year old child and I wanted to be with certain parents id become the parent I didn't want to be with worst nightmare. I would cause some rucus. What in the smack state do you live in that they let that continue. Let me guess. Southcarolina? I do suggest getting a lawyer, one who has experience in this area. Ask what the costs will be, and talk with him/her.
If you can't afford a lawyer, do you have any type of Social Services Department in your local area? If so, go talk with them. They can guide you to others who can help. I do sincerely wish you well, and hope everything works out OK.
