    Jackson,

What have you been doing for the past 15 years? How have managed to survive.

Have you sought guidance from you Priest, Pastor or Rabbi? These folks have surprisingly good insights to offer you. Have you had contact with the run-away? Do you know how to find his sorry tush and haul it into court? Are you looking for any type of punitive punishment to be doled out to "Missing?"

My first step would be to find a reasonable attorney and see if you can file for an uncontested divorce. If that option is not available, I'd go after the guy, "hammer and tong" just on the abandoning, providing it was not some type of a consensual agreement.

Do you have children from this marriage? If you do, then divorce will be complicated and the State may rules regarding child support in cases of spousal abandonment.

You could also talk to the local Police to make sure you don't have criminal charges that may be applicable to your run-away.
