    Washer smell
My washer gives off an odor. The clothes come out clean and do not smell, its when the washer is empty and you go in the room there is a smell, if you stick your head near the drum you can smell it. Any help would be great

Run a cycle with only bleach. Use about 2c. It should kill any smell.

MP's correct. Every washer has a sump the watrer left in the hose drains back into when the pump stops. Bacteria can grow down there and create a bad odor. Do the bleach thing and see if the smell doesn't go away. Good luck, Tom
