    Sick Puppy
Me and my boyfriend just bought a 8 week old lab/boxer and she was fine yesterday until the night then she started to throw up and have diahria, she throw up all the food we gave her yesterday and today she hasn't eaten a thing, she has been drinking lots of water thought but then she throws it up. She is having a little bit of diahriah with a pink string, but I believe that it is the pepto-bismo we gave her yesterday only because the breeder asked us to and I'm ont 100% sure their may be a very small amount of blood is their anything that we can do until Friday? That's when we will take her to the vet, cause that's when we can pay for it

Unfortunately the breeder may have sold you a very sick puppy. If it is parvo, Friday may be too late. It is essential the puppy is on an IV at the vet's as soon as possible. I am afraid having a puppy may be much more expensive than you planned.

The search feature here works well. Do a search here on parvo. You will find heartbreaking story after story of somebody's new puppy turned sick and was dead a few days later. For more on parvo, see Canine Parvovirus, What you should know about

Yeah we actually brought her to the vet yesterday cause she had diahreeh that was all blood, but we got the test back and the doctor said is was negavitve for parvo but she may have distemper:(.. but the good thig is the breeder will take the puppy back and pay for the vet bill.. Do you think that it would be OK to bring a New puppy here (if she has distmper) or would the disese be still in this house and back yard where she peed and pooped?

You hear so little about distemper any more, I am not sure. The vet might be the best source of info on it. You could do a search on American Veterinary Medical Association. Unlike much of the rest of the net, what you find there should be reliable.

Thank you for all your help and I will tell you if she has it and how she is, and if she does have distemper I can give you the info if it will stay in the house or backyard so if anyone else has a question about it you can give them the answer!
But we are interested in looking for another medium sized dog so if you know any breeders in the vancouver area that are breeding Black labs could you let me know thank you so much for your help!! :D
