You don't need to stop eating to lose weight, just eat six small portions of food a day and don't eat after six pm. You need to start walking at least 3 times a day for 1 hour. Start with 1/2 hour then work you way up to one hour you will lose weight and won't be hungry stay away from junk food eat healthy and you we see the results in one moth you should start losing allot of weight. Try I did and it works, this was recommended to me by my doctor who is a heart specialist. Good luck.

That's the thing I don't have time to prepare six small meals a day
If I did I would I never know what to eat either people say bread isn't healthy
But I don't know what else to have if I don't have
    A sandwich or roll
I'm not going to be not eating its just a shake instead of food.
    Does anyone have anything else

I have a friend that did the medifast plan. It worked as long as she was on the pricy plan. As soon as she went back to real life, the weight came back.

    Thank you :)
So it does work but when you go back to normal eating you put it all back on?
I suppose its worth a go though its not dear and ill try to eat healthy if I go off it..
Do you think I should give it a go or just try eating healthy and exersise?

Eat healthy and exercise is my vote. It will serve you better down the line to change the way you live, rather than a short term fix.

I know :( I do try that but I get really tempted
I just wanted something quick before summer then when it comes just start eating healthy
But I suppose I'm going to have to do its my only choice
I just find I don't have the time to prepare the meals all the time and never know what to eat instead of bread like sandwiches rolls etc...
Should I talk to my doctor about it?
I find I eat something then in no time I'm hungry again is this a problem

    Hi There

I know that the ideal weight loss is small regular meals and all that stuff, but that does not fit in with my lifestyle. I used a meal replacement shake and it worked fabulously for me. I was not really overweight to start with, 5kg maybe, but I lost 7kg on the replacement shake. And the great thing is it tasted so good, that now I don't strictly use it, but enjoy having it for breakfast everyday and my weight loss is very much maintained! It was hard for only the first 3-4 days (due mainly to bad habits!) but the main way it helped is by lessening my general appetite and meal consumption, and they definitely filled me up!

SO... just get one that tastes great (I use Celebrity Slim), be sure to stick to it for the first few tough days, and it will work great!

    Good luck
