    Plants, Hanging Ferns Life Expectancy
I have (4) outdoor hanging ferns that have truly trippled in size from when I bought them earlier this summer. Unfortunately, with winter upon us, I feel they may have seen the end of their time. Are ferns a seasonal plant only? Or is it possbile to store them in my attic over the winter, where the temp get's to be as low as 40 degrees? They would still get sunlight, and water, just not sure if I am wasting my time? Can they live for years to come?

As long as they have good drainage, high humidity and it doesn't get to hot they should do well. Ferns are Perennials and will grow year after year.
