Okay so my teacher gave me this homework assignment.
I HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO DO IT.
So mind helping mee?
Here's the question.
The table below shows temperature at various heights above omaha,Nebraska. The measurements were made on a January day when the temperature at ground levek was 32 degress F.Reminder: 1 mile=5,280 ft.(if you have a everyday mathematics student math journal for grade sixth its on page 21.)Also, f below this message means degrees fareinheight.
Here's the table,
Height above ground(miles):
0(ground level)temp:32F
1 temp:25F
2 temp:15F
3 temp:-5F
4 temp:-25F
4.5 temp:-40F
5.5 temp:-60F
10 temp:-75F
Then it told me I had to make a broken line graph.
Then there were these following questions:
2.At about what height above the ground was temp. 0F?
3;What was the approximate temp. 8 miles above omaha?
4.Suppose an airplane was about 26,000 feet above omaha on the day recorded in the table.
a.What was the approximate temp. at 26,000 ft above ground level?
I'm really confused!
Help!
