    While driving, it works then it doesn't, then it comes back. I hear there is a sensor about to go bad, if so what is it called and where is it. Thanks

    Vehicle speed sensor and it's mounted on the transaxle... near the output shaft.
    Don't lose the tiny link that goes in between.

    It's called the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) and is located on top of the transaxle, near the firewall. It has a 3-P connector going to it and two mounting bolts.
