    Circular motion
A frantic weather reporter is reporting on a live tornado. The reporter exclaims, “Wood, metal, and all kinds of debris are being thrown directly outward from the edge of the funnel.” In light of your understanding of circular motion, comment on the accuracy of the reporter’s statement.

Go on then. I can hardly make a comment in light of your understanding. I don't know how much you understand!

According to me the statement is accurate because when a body is traversing a circular path an outward force act on it which is proportional to angular velocity of the body.Since the angular velocity of a tornado is very large every thing such as metal, wood are thrown outwards
